We're looking for a Coordinator!  coordinator

We are looking for a Coordinator to join our friendly diverse team to help Enrich out in the following areas initially for a one year commitment:

- Publicity & Networking
- Coordination
- Finance & Administration
- Organisational Development

We are looking for someone who

  • Is able to speak, read and write in English
  • Preferably knows one or more community languages such as Bahasar Indonesian, Tagalog, Nepali, Urdu, Thai or Singhalese.
  • Is computer literate (Word, Email, Excel)
  • Has experience in one or more of the following areas: teaching, training, book-keeping or community work.
  • Is motivated to support migrants, ethnic minorities and low income people
  • Has a confident and friendly manner
  • Is able to work legally in Hong Kong
  • Is willing to work flexible hours sometimes on weekends and travel to different locations around Hong Kong.

 

We anticipate that the post will take up to 20 hours a week. We offer flexible working conditions, the opportunity to work from home and salary commensurate with experience. Recruitment of Freelance Trainers

enrich will soon be expanding its training, so we are looking for freelance trainers to deliver personal finance and personal development courses for migrant workers and Hong Kong ethnic minorities.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver training workshops on topics such as managing money and confidence building.
  • Participate in outreach to migrants, migrant groups and ethnic minority and low income communities in Hong Kong
  • Attend train the trainer training, and regular team meetings
  • Translate Enrichˇ¦s training into community languages
  • Provide support with administration, registrations and course preparations

Requirements

  • Motivated to empower and support migrants, ethnic minorities and low income women
  • Gender sensitivity and knowledge of migrant issues an advantage
  • Able to speak, read and write well in English
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian and Tagalog
  • Basic computer literacy (Word, email, Excel) preferred
  • Experience with interactive teaching/learning & training preferable
  • Knowledge in finance, confidence building, & community work
  • Confident, articulate and friendly
  • Able to work legally in Hong Kong
  • Willing to work and attend team meetings irregular hours a month especially weekends

Work Conditions:

Training sessions will be held at different times including weekends and in the evenings, in Kowloon, Central and Kennedy Town. Most training will be on Sundays, so trainers must be willing to work at least 1-2 Sundays per month.
